Blacksmithing

The Board of Directors of the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Memorial Museum cordially invites interested persons to create a Blacksmithing Guild to preserve, promote, and interpret the traditional art of the blacksmith craft. This Guild will offer basic introductory blacksmithing skills, or improve existing skills, of the beginners and experienced smiths, and to present opportunities for public demonstrations of blacksmithing skills.

An annual membership fee of $25 is suggested to support operation of the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Memorial Museum. If you are interested in learning more about the blacksmith craft and wish to become a member of the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Guild, please contact gerald@estaci.org or 757-656-3460.
